I've got my name officially changed and my heart was pounding when i went to the bookshop to order my name tag. It feels almost as though i'm assuming a new identity, which is pretty cool and intimidating at the same time.

That aside, i've added a new 'put-together' to my 'alskdfjiwjfe' folder (a folder i mindlessly take photos of the outfits i put together) and i'm considering getting my lip pierced. I'm not too sure yet though, getting into a lot of inconvenience taking off all my piercings everyday at school.

Sunday was spent with the duo prancing around goodman arts centre, running a booth for the pottery and clay studio. We came early for the mandatory pictures that were to be taken at the brick walls but it obviously didn't work out as what we expected it to be. There we feed excessively on ice cream from the makeshift LICK booth from the down the road in school, for only $2. I had my caricature drawn by a lovely lady with weave of yellow hair. We chatted over her scrutinizing my face and it was pretty nice to know that she's taking design and had taken art for O's. She said O level art is easy, with a talent like that, easy for her to say.

(in case you're wondering why the name stamped on top of my caricature is 'Jariel' and not 'Ching', it's probably because i'm getting a deed poll done to have an english name added next week. Jariel Ann Tan Gui Qing. It sounds foreign, and abnormally long, no?)

Found a bunch of photos chucked in a folder of my mac finder entitled "aksdjfoiwjel" which translates to "all the clothes i put on at home because i didn't get the time to go out" and a celebratory entry for a new addition to my wardrobe staples (snatched of A's hands just in time before she reaches for her wallet), a $5 botanical oversized formal top minus the sleeves!

Discovered weirddough off Jenn Im's playlist and it's pleasantly trippy and a wonderful distraction while doing math, still good though.
